Onboard Careers Cruising to Cuba
A career at sea is sure to open up a world of opportunity, and most recently, a world previously restricted to many wanderlust travelers—Cuba.
Since the United States and Cuba restored diplomatic relations in 2015, Cuba has become one of the most coveted cruise destinations. As a growing number of fleets are expanding their itineraries to include the Caribbean wonder, more onboard team members are able to explore Cuban culture in its vastness.
Currently three cruise ships are headed to Cuba in 2017: Norwegian Cruise Line’s Gem, Royal Caribbean International’s Empress of the Seas, and Holland America Line’s Veendam. In addition, 18 other popular ships are planning to set sail to Havana, Santiago, and Trinidad through 2019.
So what can art preparators, art associates, gallery directors, and principal auctioneers expect to see while working on board voyages to Cuba?
